Embracing Grace: A Journey To Healing And Transformation.
Inspired by the four pillars of the angelic realm, by Annie Conboy.
Grace has always been a concept that intreated me. It’s not a word; It’s a powerful force that steps in when you need it the most, irrespective of your actions or past. Grace is a unearned gift a force of energy that can lift us and help us better our lives. It dosn’t discriminate; it works with in us, helping us to see the gifts we already possess.
My healing journey began around seven to ten years ago, and it wasn’t an easy path. Back then, I was a very different person. I was angry at the world, destructive, chaotic in my energies, self sabotaging relationships, self harming. I hurt the people I cared about the most, losing my marriage and my connections with my children was traumatic. But admit all the chaos, I found grace.
Grace has been my guiding light, helping me to become a better person and live each moment and each day at a time. Today I am better than I was yesterday, and tomorrow, I will be better than I am today. Grace has redefined who I am as a person. However, it pains me that those I hurt can’t see the changes in me. It hurts to be considered destructive, mental, disloyal, dishonest, despite my transformation.
Taking responsibility for my own healing has been a hard slog. It’s been challenging to come out of victim mode, stop blaming others for my pain, and take control of my own healing. But grace has been with me through it all, reminding me that there is always a flickering light in the darkness. The more I share my darkness, the brighter the light becomes.
Sharing my journey has been uplifting. Helping others without expecting anything in return brings a true sense of fulfilment. This outlook has changed my daily life, showing me that positivity attracts positivity. Grace has taught me to trust the universe and believe in a higher power. This belief helps me approach life’s challenges with a sense of humour, knowing that even the cruelest challenges come with immense gifts once you overcome them.
The journey through pain has been gruelling, but emerging on the other side brings a profound sense of peace and clarity. I remind myself of where I used to be and where I am now, grounding myself in progress. Grace has been a flickering candle in my darkest times, and I am grateful for the light has brought into my life.
