Embark on a transformative journey with my Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) service, dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey towards mental wellness. This service is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to provide initial support to those experiencing a mental health crisis until professional help is available or the situation is resolved.
My MHFA program teaches participants how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, offer initial assistance, and guide individuals towards appropriate professional support. The programme emphasises compassion, confidentiality, and non-judgemental support, helping to reduce the stigma associated with mental health problems.
About Me
As your MHFA instructor, I, Kerry Rowden, bring a unique combination of professional expertise and personal experience to the role. With 7 years of experience working in sectioning hospitals and mental health independent living care homes, I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Adult Social Care and am a certified Supervisor Mental Health First Aid Instructor. My goal is to offer compassionate, non-judgemental support and guidance to those in need, drawing from my personal journey and professional expertise.
Please note that while I am not a trained counsellor or a trained psychologist, I bring extensive experience in the mental health field. If I feel someone is a threat to themselves or others and needs professional help, I will pass their details on to the appropriate authorities.
Having personally navigated the complexities of PTSD, social anxiety, and emotional distress, I understand the profound impact that mental health issues can have on one's life. My journey towards healing and resilience has fuelled my passion for helping others find hope and support.

Reiki First Degree

Course runs 10:30 - 16:30
Reiki First Degree introduces you to the incredible gift of Reiki. Upon completing this course, you'll be able to channel Reiki energy for yourself and others, and this skill will stay with you for life. You'll learn about the history, principles, and theory of Reiki and be encouraged to practise regular self-healing and explore using Reiki on yourself, others, and various aspects of your life. No prior knowledge of energy therapies is required, making this course ideal for beginners.

Attunement for Reiki 1

Reiki Second Degree

Strengthen your ability to channel Reiki, enhance your self-awareness and intuition, and develop a closer connection to your energy. This course empowers you to tackle life's challenges powerfully and introduces you to ancient symbols that are essential for distant, emotional, and mental well-being and healing.
