Unconditional Love: A Journey Within
This blog is inspired by the wisdom of the four pillars of the angelic realm, by Annie Conboy.
Recently, I embarked on a course that promised to take me on a profound journey within myself. Although i’m not new to self-healing work, this course illuminated so much for me in my mind, body, and soul.
Each topic brought immense insight into where my healing still needs to be directed, highlighting my flaws, triggers, shadow side, and where i’m energetically blocked. This is the first of the four pillars unconditional love followed by unconditional forgiveness, unconditional gratitude, and unconditional service, then progressing onto to grace and faith.
Unconditional love was a particularly tough topic for me. It showed me where I lacked love from my mother and the effect that had on me as a person. It revealed how I loved myself - or rather, my lack of self - love - as I never felt I was good enough or worthy enough for love.
This realisation made me see how i held back on giving love my own children and partner, and how love was always intertwined with abuse physically, emotionally, and mentally and the constant need for seeking approval.
As I delved deeper into this topic I discovered that my energy is blocked in my womb, which is associated with the sacral chakra. The sacral chakra is all about love, creativity, and emotional well-being. Understanding this blockage helped me to see the connection between physical and emotional states, and how healing this energy centre is crucial for my overall well-being.
This journey made me reflect on the true meaning of love and what it means to me. I see love as a universal language that shouldn’t cost anything. It’s an energy and a life force for me, it’s about loving all forms of life planets, plants, animals, and humans. It’s about loving myself and others for who they are, including their flaws and shadow side, and embracing each individual as one and without judgement.
Through this process, I learned that I am perfectly imperfect and that I can love myself as I am. It taught me to love my mum without brining in all the emotions attached via ego. Unconditional love is about letting go of judgement and expectations we put on ourselves and others and embracing the essence of love in its purest form. It’s about loving without conditions, loving wholeheartedly, and seeing the beauty in everyone and everything.
As I continue on this journey, I am grateful for the insight and growth it has brought me. Unconditional love is not just a concept; it’s a practice and a way of being. It’s a journey of healing, acceptance, and embracing the wholeness of ourselves and others.
Embracing unconditional love has allowed me to let go of judgment and expectations, and to see the beauty in everyone and everything around me. It has taught me to love without conditions, to love whole heartedly, and to appreciate the unique essence of each individual, including myself.
I am committed to continuing this journey of self-discovery and self love , and to extending that love to all forms of life. Through this practise, I am finding a deeper connection to myself and the world/universe, and I am learning to live with greater compassion, gratitude, and grace.
Unconditional love is a powerful force that can transform our lives and the lives of those around us. By embracing this practice, we can create a more loving and harmonious world. One where we honour and celebrate the beauty and divinity in every being.
